The oxidized PGM ore feed sample was dominated by silicate gangue minerals such as chabazite (21.82%) and quartz (45.10%). Magnetite was identified as the major iron oxide, accounting for 33.07% of the ore. The ore also contained trace quantities of enstatite and anorthite.
